Kürüm Oxygen Facility has the ability to provide services for other companies in Albania as well as serving the Group's facilities.
Kürüm International acquired the oxygen requirements of its iron-steel facilities in Elbasan from the oxygen company within the jurisdiction of Albanian Government until 2002. Evaluating the strain this exerted on the production costs, the Company added the oxygen factory in Elbasan to its facilities. The oxygen factory is the second company Kürüm Holding acquired in Albania through the privatization/privileges option. Having begun its operations in 2004, the oxygen facilities, with 60,000 ton capacity, has been providing services not only to other units within the group, but also other institutions and enterprises in Albania; hence, answering a vital need of the country's industry.

Since 2004, the facility has been brought to a status of full capacity production, while efficiency improving work has continued. Currently, the facilities produce industrial- type oxygen cylinders as well as liquid oxygen and nitrogen. Therefore, Kürüm Oxygen not only contributes to Albanian industry, but also provides services to the health sector. Kürüm Holding is also planning to produce argon and carbon dioxide by injecting further investment into the facilities.
